ADMINISTRATOR

ACJ (Africa Culture Journeys) is currently seeking a responsible and trustworthy Administrator to join our team. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in Setswana and English

  • Class B Drivers license

  • Recognized certificate in office administration / Records Management or equivalent

  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software  (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Proficient with payroll software including QuickBooks

  • Advanced mathematical skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Flexible schedule

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of two years of administrative experience with increasing responsibility

  • Proficiency in MS Office Products   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a.     Order office supplies

b.     Liaise and take care of office maintenance issues

c.      Responsible for planning and organizing company social events

d.      Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

e.      Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

f.      Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

g.     Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing and collections.

h.     Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management.

i.        Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording and reporting of financial transactions.

j.       Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against targets.

k.     Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.

l.        Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.

m.    Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes
